Bathroom blinds
It can be hard choosing the right blinds for your bathroom as you want something that is water resistant, matches your décor, and is easy to clean and maintain. There are a few great options to choose from then it all comes down to what you want.
Roller blinds
Roller blinds are a great choice for bathrooms. Since it’s a classic, there are so many designs and fabrics to choose from that is sure to fit with any décor design. You can also go for a blackout option, giving you total privacy. While roller blinds are a good choice on their own, there is a great range of water-resistant fabrics made out of PVC and Vinyl. A downside could be that you can only roll the blind up and down, there’s not as much control of how much light gets in compared to some other choices.
Vertical blinds
Vertical blinds may not seem like an obvious at first but they are practical and easy to clean, especially the PVC fabrics. They are especially suited for large windows as they offer full flexibility for how much privacy and light you want to let in. Vertical blinds come in a wide range of colours and patterns, ranging from white to florals. For those who like to keep the window open may find that vertical slats move around a bit too much due to the wind. However, verticals never go out of style and are easy to match.
Shutters
Waterproof shutters are a fantastic choice for rooms like bathrooms or kitchens – basically anywhere there’s a lot of moisture. Shutters are easy to clean, simply wipe between the slats with a dry microfibre cloth to get rid of any dust and that’s it! As they are thicker than blinds, they naturally offer total privacy and you can full control on how much light coming in. While shutters may be on the more expensive side, hey are a great investment as they last for years, especially Polywood shutters.
Wooden blinds
Wooden blinds are a stunning addition to any home. Faux wooden blinds are a perfect choice for any bathroom. They have the look and elegance of wooden blinds but are made out of high-grade PVC. This makes them waterproof and unlike wooden blinds, they won’t be marked by condensation. They are also quite easy to match with any décor and more affordable than real wooden blinds.
